I offer a warm, empathetic approach to a range of issues from minor concerns to complex chronic mental health conditions. I use neuroaffirming, trauma informed, and LGBTQAI+ inclusive techniques.
I have over 15 years of clinical experience, working with a range of issues including anxiety, depression, suicidality, bipolar, psychosis, OCD, and OCPD, but my work has primarily focused on eating disorders, complex PTSD, neurodivergence, and treatment resistant depression.
I am experienced in running both inpatient and outpatient eating disorder and DBT programs, as well as working in a private practice setting.
I am trained to deliver a large range of interventions, but primarily draw from Schema Therapy, Focal Psychodynamic Therapy (FPT), Specialist Supportive Clinical Management (SSCM), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), with a focus on attachment. While I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), I prefer to use Imagery Rescripting (ImRS) and CBT based trauma therapy. I like to tell it like it is, and use humour in session too.
In addition to working with clients, I also run training and offer supervision to eating disorder health professionals.
I am registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), am a credentialed eating disorder clinician with the Australian New Zealand Academy of Eating Disorders (ANZAED), and am a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists incorporated (AAPi).
